Create your own lists

Replacement proposal

To replace the navbox which has become too small in view of the number of lists, I propose the following change (test the button ;-):

Consult the lists

Opinions?
  • I agree that the current navbox is unconvenient, but the button carries the same core problem: almost nobody wants to browse each and every list of Lingua Libre in every language. We would rather create a user-friendly "portal" page for each language, displaying all the existing lists in the language. On the current help page, we could create a list of portals by language, to quickly find relevant lists for a specific language. What do you think about this? Hello @WikiLucas00 , Currently, to have the lists, the only way is to access this page; this is also what I do, but from the special pages (at the bottom of the page or from the address bar). Remember that there are no translations tags yet, so nothing prevents us to add another side-by-side button (or accommodating this button) for a preferred UI language (e.g. "Consult the lists from your language", just with "from" param). I was thinking of putting the language as a parameter (with form) to let the user free choice of it, but I stopped when you wrote me about a rework (?). —Eihel (talk) 08:11, 21 July 2021 (UTC)
